Haiti Earthquake 2010
The earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010 was in headlines all over the world. The 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the small country, resulting to deaths of over 200,000 people. 2 million people were left homeless after the disaster. Most experts suggest that the devastation should not have been this huge. However, due to the corrupt government and weak infrastructure in the country, it led to more deaths and destructions than projected.
