Why would you elect to have a red blob as a university mascot? The Western Kentucky University sits atop a hill that is why they are called the Hilltoppers. It does not compute how a furry red blob as a mascot connects to the university’s athletic team, even if the creator says it’s a representation of the school’s spirit.
