Cayenne
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s athletic team is called the Ragin’ Cajuns. This could be the reason why the university chose to have a giant red-hot Cayenne pepper for their mascot. Actually it represents the team’s fighting spirit. But the eyes though are somewhat crossed. Is it because it was stung by the hotness of the pepper, too?
