The 1851 Sicily Tornado
It was really unclear how this tornado turned out really strong. Most experts suggest that it started out as a waterspout. In fact, there were two of them. When they merged and hit the shore, it led to greater devastations. As a result, over 500 people died and millions of dollars’ worth of properties were lost.
