1950 Denver Nuggets (1st)
The first Denver Nuggets played in the NBA from 1948 to 1950. The team was the first major professional sports franchise in Colorado. It was also the first franchise in the NBA to be located west of the Mississippi. They only played for two seasons. After their 11-51 (0.177) record in the second season, you can’t blame them for quitting the league. This is also one of the team’s worst NBA records.
