The 2004-2005 Atlanta Hawks tied the 1993-94 Dallas Mavericks with their 13-69 record (0.159). This was their franchise worst record. They had a 2-12 record in November, and things got worse after the All-Star break, when they posted 4-31 for their last 35 games. The only bright moment was when rookie Josh Smith bagged the Slam Dunk Contest during the All-Star Weekend.
