Perhaps, this man is the most controversial one on the list of the worst presidents as of now. Under his administration, Syria has descended into rubbles. Due to his policies, Syria has entered a civil war that caused the rise of ISIS and other rebel groups. People were calling for him to step down from power and in response. He has used his military and arms to kill opponents, even innocent civilians. It could take years before Syria could be seen rising again. It will only happen though if he decides to finally let go of power.
