Diocletian
Diocletian was documented to have reigned at the culmination of the ‘Crisis of the Third Century.’ He is notably one of the biggest persecutors of Christians in history. He made some laws directing Christians to be stripped off of their rights until they finally get converted to Roman Catholicism. Because of these Christians revolted against his reign, some 3,000 were martyred from dates 303 to 311. Many of the Christians suffer crucifixion, beheading, and burning to death.
