Alcohol abuse
If water is harmful enough, imagine if alcohol is present during the hazing. There was a fatal hazing in another Californian university that led to the death of a student as well as the arrest of several members of a fraternity. The process was pretty simple. They just asked the members to drink as much alcohol as they can in 90 minutes. The one who died had .44 alcohol level on the blood after the autopsy. This amount is 5 times higher than the legal driving limit. The same incident happened in another university in Illinois. When the member passed out after being too drunk, he was dragged to another room where he was found dead the following day.
