Baltimore, Maryland
The worst part about living in Baltimore is that you have a very good chance of being killed. It has the second highest murder rate throughout the country. Over 25% of its residents live in poverty with 8% of them being unemployed. In 2014, over 340 residents were murdered and this rate is 11 times higher than the national rate. Perhaps, the lack of trust between the residents and its police authorities paved the way for the increase in crimes that has enveloped the city for so long.
