Denver Nuggets in 1998
The 1997-98 Denver Nuggets tied the 1992-93 Dallas Mavericks for the third worst record for a full 82 game season with an 11-71 win-loss slate (0.134 percentage). They were expected to do worse, as they were 2-38 after 40 games, and then had a 16 game losing streak. Admittedly, it was tough to win in the Western Conference, with Utah at 62-20, and both Seattle Supersonics and Los Angeles Lakers at 61-21.
