Houston Rockets in 1983
This was the team which everyone looks at as where the draft luck turned. The 1982-83 Houston Rockets started out with a 0-10 record, and then won only 4 of the last 33 games.They ended up last place with 14-68 (0.171). The next year, as the last place team, they drafted Ralph Sampson but still somehow ended up in last place. The year after that they bagged Hakeem Olajuwon. The Twin Towers was born and the rest is history.
